A home in the hills

We found it! And not a minute too late! After looking at least 40 houses and getting discouraged, we bought the first one we had looked at. It was always Andy's favorite...can you tell?

YAY! We're home - good thing...just a few more months to go!

California - Kentucky - Nevada

We moved out of our California home on Christmas Day, went to El Paso for the Sun Bowl, then set off to start a new life in Kentucky...only to do a U-turn when Andy accepted his dream job in Nevada.

We were hooked up with a free casino room while we house hunted...this is us in our temporary home.



Seven months pregnant and starting to feel a breeze (see that gap under the shirt?) We better find a home fast or we're going to be setting up a crib in the casino!

Total hotel stay: 54 days!!! But it was worth the wait to find a great house!

Grandma & Grandpa Boo visit

Grandma and Grandpa Boo came to Palo Alto to celebrate the good news. We saw Andy at football practice...



And went out for my first "restricted" sushi dinner. How many months do I have to go without it?!
